Egg nog

Another contentious topic! Some brothers are picky eaters. Fortunately the one that lives with me is not and wanted to embark on aged egg nog. So, we went to the liquor cabinet and discovered we had all the ingredients: cognac, whiskey, and dark rum. Plus a little bit of amaretto, for the Italian touch. And a drop of maple syrup to round out the Vermont experience.

The recipe

Not sure we can wait two years, but apparently it’s like sourdough — drink some every year and add more.

Note it doesn’t say to mix it…
(we did blend it later).
